What causes uneven heat-sealing pressure in stretch film?
Heat-seal film manufacturer: Heat-shrink films are primarily used for labeling, heat-shrink outer packaging, or as packaging films. The polymers commonly employed to produce heat-shrink films include PVC, PE, PS, and PET. After heating, the film is stretched, cooled, and set—provided no thermal setting has been performed—to yield a heat-shrink film. Near the polymer’s glass transition temperature (Tg), the molded polymer is subjected to biaxial stretching, followed by heat treatment, which locks the polymer chains in their oriented state and results in a heat-shrink film. From raw material to finished heat-shrink film, the process involves a decrease in entropy, and the thermal state of the film is inherently unstable. Once the heat-shrink film undergoes tempering, the polymer chains rapidly revert to their disordered, coiled configuration, causing the film to contract. This characteristic of heat-shrink films makes them particularly suitable for producing labels for irregularly shaped bottles.

What is a PET heat-seal film, and what factors affect its quality?
What is a PET heat-seal film, and what factors affect its quality? Single‑sided or double‑sided PET heat‑seal films, thanks to their excellent high‑temperature resistance, are widely used in die‑cutting and the lamination of adhesive products. This product uses PET heat‑seal film as its base material, with a very thin release coating evenly applied to one or both sides. The surface of the PET heat‑seal film is smooth and flat, with uniform coating and no defects such as wrinkles, particles, or bubbles. It exhibits outstanding physical properties, tight thickness tolerances, and low thermal shrinkage, along with high tensile strength and chemical inertness.

How can we improve the adhesion of PET film? What precautions should be taken when using PET heat-seal films?
PET film is a thermoplastic film characterized by high transparency, excellent gloss, and superior gas barrier properties, making it widely used in packaging, optics, construction materials, pharmaceuticals, and other industries. The surface tension of untreated PET heat-seal film can exceed 40 dynes/cm. However, some inks are applied directly, resulting in suboptimal adhesion. Only by subjecting PET heat-seal film to specialized treatment can improved adhesion be achieved.

What are the common issues with PET heat-seal films?
PET heat-seal films that have turned yellow, gray, or exhibit yellow streaks—especially when wound into a roll and visibly yellow or gray—are problematic. If yellow streaks are present, unroll the film and inspect it against the light, or lay it over a white backing, to better identify the issue.

Some key facts about polyester film—told to you by a PET heat-seal film manufacturer.
PET heat-seal film manufacturers define PET polyester film, or simply PET film, as a material characterized by high-temperature resistance, excellent printability, ease of processing, superior dielectric strength and insulation properties, and compliance with UL 94 VTM‑2 flame‑retardancy certification. It is also environmentally friendly, having obtained SGS and RoHS certifications.

What are the characteristics of polyester film? A PET heat-seal film manufacturer explains them for you.
PET heat-seal film manufacturers consider polyester film to be a new type of film material, boasting excellent overall performance, high hardness and toughness, as well as outstanding puncture resistance and abrasion resistance. Consequently, polyester film is one of the most commonly used base materials for barrier composite films.

BOPP heat-seal film manufacturers share the properties and applications of polyester film.
Polyester film exhibits excellent toughness, mechanical strength, and outstanding transparency, but its surface smoothness is relatively poor. The addition of slip agents may result in slight haze. No other additives are required. Polyester film is chemically inert to food. Heat sealing is challenging because it tends to shrink and become brittle due to crystallization.

Sharing the Application Scope of BOPP Heat-Seal Films
BOPP heat-seal film is a highly important flexible packaging material. It is colorless, odorless, tasteless, and non‑toxic, with high tensile strength, impact resistance, rigidity, toughness, and excellent transparency. Due to its low surface energy, BOPP heat-seal film must undergo corona treatment prior to adhesive coating or printing.

The functions and characteristics of product packaging—BOPP heat-seal film manufacturers explain.
BOPP heat-seal film manufacturers believe that in human life, there are generally three types of needs: first, the satisfaction of basic physiological and material needs; second, the fulfillment of spiritual and psychological needs that arise once those basic needs are met; and third, a selfless, altruistic form of support that transcends both material and spiritual concerns—a supreme state often described as detachment, equanimity, and a far-reaching sense of inner peace.

Some common knowledge about BOPP film—BOPP heat-seal film manufacturers are here to clarify your doubts.
BOPP heat-seal film manufacturers note that BOPP (biaxially oriented polypropylene) film is widely used for packaging food, confectionery, tea, fruit juice, milk, textiles, and more. It is favored for its light weight, non-toxicity, odorlessness, moisture resistance, high mechanical strength, excellent dimensional stability, superior transparency, and outstanding printability after surface treatment.
